Dear Alumni:
The term of the 27th Alumni Association of Kau Yan College will expire at the end of September. The Alumni Association Annual General Meeting will be held in August and a new Alumni Association will be elected.
The Association will report on the affairs of the past year at the AGM and invite the new candidates to explain their election ideas and platforms. We hope that every alumni present will understand the development of the Alumni Association last year and the development trend of the next year.
We sincerely invite all alumni to take the time to attend the vote and welcome all alumni to form a committee to run for election. The registration deadline is August 8, 2025.
That day is a rare opportunity for alumni to gather together and rekindle the past feelings. There will be a Finnish chess activity before the AGM (6:30 to 7:30 pm), and you are also invited to participate.

In addition, according to the provisions of the Education Ordinance of the Laws of Hong Kong, this Association (Kau Yan College Alumni Association) must elect an alumnus to join the Incorporated Management Committee of the alma mater (Kau Yan College) through elections, so that the alma mater has an open, transparent and multi-party school governance structure.
Therefore, on the day of the Alumni Association's Annual General Meeting, that is, 22 August 2025, the next term of alumni school managers will be elected to contribute to the development of the alma mater. If you are a valid life member or formal member of Kau Yan College and are interested in running for election, you can register.
Registration method: Complete the application form [see attachment, Chinese Version only], together with a personal profile and aspirations for running for election, and send it by mail or in person to Kau Yan College, Fu Shin Estate, Tai Po, before the registration deadline. Please indicate on the envelope "Application for election of alumni school managers".
Deadline for registration and nomination: 8 August 2025
Voting date: 22 August 2025
Venue: Kau Yan College Hall
Result announcement: After the counting of votes, the Returning Officer will immediately announce the election results and notify the members of the Association via email within seven days after the announcement of the election results.
Returning Officer: At the Alumni Association meeting on 6 June this year, the Association approved the appointment of current Alumni Association member Ms. Su Xiaotong as the Returning Officer.
