The National Security Exhibition Gallery officially opened on August 7, 2024. It is the first dedicated gallery in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to systematically introduce national security, as well as the city’s first physical national security education base aimed at promoting national security education within the community. To enhance students’ understanding of the importance of national security, our school arranged a visit to the gallery for teachers and students on April 24, 2026. The exhibition offered rich and comprehensive content, vividly presenting the meaning and development of national security through precious historical photos, oil paintings, technological models, and 3D movies.
The visit proved to be highly rewarding for our students. Deeply impressed by the realistic and vivid films, students gained a deeper understanding of the "Holistic Approach to National Security." They learned that national security extends beyond territorial and military defense to encompass diverse areas such as technology, cyber security, and culture, while recognizing their own crucial responsibility in safeguarding national security in daily life. More importantly, students came to realize that Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability are inextricably linked to national security. They also appreciated Hong Kong’s unique advantages of being "backed by the motherland and connected to the world" under "One Country, Two Systems," inspiring them to utilize their talents to contribute to the future development of both our nation and Hong Kong.
