The "Hainan Sister School Exchange and Historical, Cultural, and Technological Development Study Tour," organized by our school from June 27 to 30, 2026, has successfully concluded. Rich in educational value, the itinerary allowed students to immerse themselves in Hainan Province's profound heritage and rapid technological advancements. Crucially, the trip marked a momentous milestone as Kau Yan College officially established a sister school partnership with Wenchang Middle school, laying a solid foundation for long-term collaboration between educators and students from both regions.
Throughout the study tour, participants visited various landmark destinations. On the cultural and historical front, students explored Mission Hills Movie Town, Qilou Old Street, and the Century Clock Tower, gaining insights into architectural evolution and historical shifts. To understand modern development and ecological conservation, the delegation experienced Haikou Bay at night, visited the Mulan Bay Windmill Coast, and toured the Dongzhai Harbor National Nature Reserve, appreciating local urban planning and sustainable ecosystems. Notably, the visit to the Wenchang Space Science Center served as a major highlight, enabling students to witness the nation's technological strides in aerospace and grasp the vital importance of technological security to national development.
This immersive journey proved exceptionally rewarding. Through field investigations and meaningful exchanges with local peers, students expanded their global perspectives and deepened their understanding of national development strategies. In the reflection session, participants shared their resolve to translate these inspirations into actionable goals, striving to equip themselves to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation. Looking forward, the school remains committed to leveraging our sister school network to offer students enriched learning opportunities.
